1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of Offline, a group trip funding platform operated by Offline Ltd. By creating an account or making a payment through Offline, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
2. Using Offline
Offline is free to use for organizing and contributing to group trips. You must be at least 18 years old to create a trip or connect a payout account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
3. Payments and Fees
Offline charges no fees to organizers or members. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Standard card processing fees apply and are covered by Offline. BNPL fees are set by the respective providers (Klarna, Afterpay, Affirm).
4. Trip Funding Rules
Organizers are responsible for ensuring the trip goal accurately reflects the planned expenses. Funds collected are held in escrow until the trip is fully funded or the deadline passes. Organizers must make a shortfall decision within 48 hours of deadline.
5. Organizer Responsibilities
As an organizer, you agree to use collected funds solely for the stated trip expenses, to notify members of any material changes to the trip, and to process refunds promptly if the trip is cancelled.
6. Refund Policy
If a trip is cancelled before the payment deadline, all collected funds are refunded automatically within 5 to 7 business days. After the deadline, refunds are at the organizer's discretion unless the trip is cancelled by Offline for a breach of these terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
Offline is a funding platform only. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or delivery of any travel services. Our liability is limited to the amount of funds held in escrow at the time of any dispute.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you by email and in-app at least 14 days before any material changes take effect. Continued use of Offline after that date constitutes acceptance.
